Buakaw vs. Dzhabar Askerov now taking place in January of 2012 at Yokkao Extreme

Yokkao Boxing is best known for manufacturing Muay Thai equipment in Thailand and sponsoring some of the world best fighters. Now they have stepped into the promotional business, and their first announcement has definitely stirred the pot.

Yokkao Boxing has officially announced Yokkao Extreme which will take place in Milan, Italy in January of 2012. The biggest news is that headlining the event will be Buakaw Por. Pramuk vs. Dzhabar Askerov. Originally scheduled to take place at the inaugural event for the Muaythai Premier League on September 2nd in Los Angeles, Yokkao Boxing has stated that the fight will not be taking place in Los Angeles on September 2nd.

This does not mean that Buakaw will not be coming to fight in the U.S. as Yokkao Boxing has stated that Buakaw can still fight on the event but that Askerov will not be fighting on that date. For more information visit Yokkao Boxing, Stefania Muay Thai Combat, or Muay Thai Combat.

Muay Thai Authority spoke to Clifton Brown the President and CEO of the Muaythai Premier League but could not confirm the bout being removed from the September 2nd Muaythai Premier League event as he was in the process of obtaining the details of the news that Yokkao Boxing has released.
