Muay Thai Premier League.
Team FMT is lucky to get an interview before this important fight.

Congratulations with the signing with MPL, Artem.

• Can you tell us a little about Muay Thai Premier League?
This is a very good promotion for muay thai all over the world. Worldscale muythai stars, hardcore bouts, big prize money, total media coverage. If the organizers keep the trend, MPL will be next K-1. I believe in this.
• How do you feel about this fight against Roberto Cocco?
No comments. Predictions are ungrateful thing to do. Man proposes, but God disposes.
• What do you know about your opponent?
I’ve heard a lot about him. He has good boxing skills. I’ve watched his fights. He has some powers, but I’ve seen week positions as well, and I’ll undoubtely use them. Boxing is similar to chess: you neutralize strengths making opponent weak, and then check and mate.
• How do you prepare before fights?
My team researches every opponent before a fight. And i train hard, working out every day. My team prepares surprises for opponent and audience as we know that opponent’s team do researches on me too.
• How long have you been training Muay Thai?
I’ve been doing muay thai since i’m 10.
• What do you do to keep your motivation up?
It’s a strong complete passion for muay thai. To be the first and best in the sport, and to make my parents be proud of me.
• What about food and mental training, how do you work with these things?
These things are secret for public. It’s a closed inner process within my team.
• What is next after this fight?
Don’t know yet. But i’m sure it will be the high class bout as well as this.
• Do you have anything to say to your fans in Norway?
Support me. Train hard, nobody can do it better for you, become the best. Raise the sport of muay thai to the highest level with me.
