From the beginning to the end, it was all action. After a three round, nonstop slugfest, the judges couldn’t decide who won the fight and the great crowd got what they wanted: an extra round.

In the extra round both fighters really went for the kill in their quest for the title of “King of Amsterdam”. The crowd went wild and The Sand almost exploded while the 2 young stars battled for the win. Punches, kicks, flying knees…they did it all!

After the extra round the judges decided that Mohamed Khamal was the winner and immediately it showed that both men are good friends and the respect they had for each other must have become even bigger after their epic battle. The last fight in 2010 on an IT’S SHOWTIME event was a real thriller and the best imaginable closure of the year.

While The Netherlands was disordered by heavy snowfall, the Russian seemed to be in his element. He beat the dangerous Ouzgni, who knocked out Nieky Holzken within a minute at IT’S SHOWTIME last September, by TKO, claiming the title and the belt.
