Buakaw speaks to Thai TV about his current situation

Buakaw Por. Pramuk is safe and sound. The Muay Thai superstar appeared on TV last night in Thailand. After the news of his disappearance broke last week, there was much speculation as to his where about. It was soon brought to light that he had left on his own terms. We previously reported that Buakaw was spotted in Phuket, but that turned out to be a false.

Buakaw talked about everything that has been going on. He stated that he was hot happy with his management at Por. Pramuk gym, however, he did not say that it was over monetary reasons as previously speculated. He did state that he had thought of retiring as early as 2009 because he was being mistreated by the management. His current plan is to take a break and rest. Buakaw has had several big fights in the last few years and was consistently being matched up with some of the best fighters outside of Thailand.

If Buakaw ever returns to action it is unknown, but there are clearly issues that need to be solved with his camp if he decides to return with them. We are glad to see that Buakaw is safe and we hope he returns to the ring when he is ready.

Below is the interview with Buakaw, it is in Thai so you might need someone to help you translate. As always keep checking back at Muay Thai Authority for all your new regarding Muay Thai or you can like us on facebook and follow us on twitter.
