Seven questions with Cosmo Alexandre – Fightmag.net INTERVIEW

Fightmag.net : You are fighting Giorgio Petrosyan under his rules (K-1) and at his weight of 70kg at Oktagon 2011, 70kg is very light for you, are you looking at fighting in K-1 MAX ?
Cosmo Alexandre : It depends on the opportunity, of course I want to fight there, but this year I want to fight more MMA

Fightmag.net : Since the split with Its Showtime, it doesn’t appear to have hurt you in getting fights, as mentioned above you are matched with Petrosyan, what other fights do you have lined up for 2011?
Cosmo Alexandre : Yeah , I don’t fight in Showtime anymore, it was not problem to me . Now I have this fight against Petrosyan and others fights . As I said before , I want to fight more MMA this year .

Fightmag.net : Having fought all over the world, where are you favorite places to fight ?
Cosmo Alexandre : I fought in many many countries but I really love Australia, New Zealand and Thailand .

Fightmag.net : You have fought in Australia a few times, hows does fighting here compare to other places ?
Cosmo Alexandre : In Australia I can fight like in Thailand…with elbows and clinch .

Fightmag.net : Speaking of Australia, is there fights here that interest you ? Rematch with Eugene Boom Boom ? JWP ?
Cosmo Alexandre : Eugene is my friend, I like him, he’s a nice guy but everybody knows I won that fight . I would like to fight against JWP again , it would be a honour .

Fightmag.net : What about worldwide, any fighters in particular you want to fight ? Yodsaenklai ? Artem Levin ?
Cosmo Alexandre : I don’t like to choose who I will fight against, but I really want to fight against Buakaw.

Fightmag.net : Who has been the biggest influence in your fight carreer and why ?
Cosmo Alexandre : I get some thing from all the good fighters , from Muay Thai or boxing. Pajunsuk, Shane Mosley, Juan Marquez, Orono, Sakmongkol… But the first fighter that I tried fight same style was Ernesto Hoost.
