Beijing, 2nd September- With all the seats taken, Muaythai Final took place on the OSCG. The cheers from the spectators, along with the traditional Thai music, evoked the enthusiasm among all the people present.

The first gold medal of the Muaythai of this SCG was achieved by Thai player Sattra PALEENARAM. He demonstrated the characters of Muaythai by using his knees and elbows. Before the starting of Men’s Muaythai 63.5kg Final, Thai player Panupan provoked his opponent KHOLMURATOV Firdavsiy from Uzbekistan in the pre-match worship. As the king of Muaythai, Thailand’s athlete Yodthanong PHORAT won many champion title. In today’s 75kg Final, he encountered his old friend Russia’s Artem LEVIN. They got on the stage in a professional match in 2008. At that time, Yodthanong PHORAT became the winner. However, things change quickly. In today’s match, Artem LEVIN took the revenge and beat the 2008 winner. Artem’s height and long leg kept a distance between PHORAT Yodthanong. The only Chinese player who entered the Final was WANG Wenzhong in the 91kg Final. He defended Dzianis HANCHARONAK’s combined attacks bravely, and won a silver medal for Team China.

In Men’s 57kg Muaythai Final, Ukraine’s lgor LIUBCHENKO got the champion. Two Thai players, Jeerasa INUDOM and Teerapong DEE, won the gold medal in the Men’s 67 and 71kg respectively. Finland’s Milja HEINO and Peru’s Valentina SHEVCHENKO were the winners in Women’s 54 and 60kg Finals.
